"Kat"

The first piece in a series of portraits I've recently started.  Kat is a very cool and interesting person to spend time with.  Many thanks to her for posing for this one.
Oil on canvas, 30 x 18

"Studioscape"

The start: A very basic line drawing marking composition elements.

About half way:  My process is fairly direct.  I tend to finish a painting in sections, most of which are completed in one session.

The completed painting:  "Studioscape"  Oil on canvas 15 x 30

I was honored to have this painting accepted to the Springville Museum of Art's 88th Annual Spring Salon. Available at Meyer Gallery, Park City.
